On Saturday, I went once again to the Baked Potato to check out Mike Keneally and his band, following an afternoon of standing in line at the Universal Studios theme park across the street.

Next concert for me is this coming Friday, for the Mars Volta and System of a Down. Completely different atmosphere this time... Hopefully it will still be great!

In other news, I finally finished reading the new Harry Potter book on Sunday. Lots of fun... and upsetting events. :)

So last night I headed to check out OHM: at the Baked Potato.

I will be back at the Baked Potato on Saturday though. Should be fun, and hopefully won't be quite as crowded. This must have been one of the worst days at this venue I have seen so far. This club is awesome if you are able to get a seat, but when it gets bad, it gets *really* bad.

In a completely different genre, I also found out that euro-power-metal kings Stratovarius will be touring the US in October. I shall try to get to their performance at the House of Blues on the 10th.

Yet the big event of the week-end for me will be the Gigantour on Sunday. Dream Theater, Megadeth, Symphony X... Yummy! I can't wait. :)
