As I watch the Karl Rove debacle unfolding, there is something that I find quite interesting. Why would an evil mastermind, the puppet-master of them all, voluntarily allow the journalists to disclose that he was the source of the CIA leak, when they were ready to take one for the team and go to prison instead of revealing it?

Rove is one of the most brilliant experts in media manipulation, which leads me to believe he may have some kind of unspoken agenda in doing this. I'm just really wondering how he will manage to turn a possible criminal indictment into something that himself or the rest of the neo-con cabal will gain politically from. I have that uneasy feeling that it is all another carefully orchestrated tap dance...

I just wish that he will be exposed for the dirty scumbag that he is, and will get to spend the rest of his life in a federal prison. But I'm not holding my breath. If the past is any indication, he will probably end up receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom, on the bench of the Supreme Court, or something equally ludicrously offensive.
